This Is Your Life
Who cares what came before, We were only starlight
One day, then nevermore
Because we're only whispers in the wind.
Once upon a time,
The world was never blind
Like we are.
Right now it seems
We're only dreams and shadows.
If wishes could be eagles, how you'd fly.
This is your life,
This is your time,
What if the flame won't last forever?
This is your here,
This is your now,
Let it be magical.
~From the wisdom of Ronnie James Dio~

The Fairy Call
~A spell for summoning the faeries~
Sit where the cat sits,
Cross your toes,
Close your eyes,
And smell a rose.
Then say under your breath:
"I believe in fairies, sure as death".
Gadflykins! Gladtrypins!
Gutterpuss and Cass
Come to me fairily
Each lad and lass.
From "Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book".

Fairy Voyage
If I were just a fairy small, I'd take a leaf and sail away,
I'd sit astride the stem and guide
It straight to Fairyland - and stay!

The Road to Fairyland
Do you seek the road to Fairyland? I'll tell; it's easy, quite.
Wait till a yellow moon gets up
O'er purple seas by night,
And gilds a shining pathway
That is sparkling diamond bright
Then, if no evil power be nigh
To thwart you, out of spite,
And if you know the very words
To cast a spell of might,
You get upon a thistledown,
And, if the breeze is right,
You sail away to Fairyland
Along this track of light.
~by Ernest Thompson Seton~

*did you know, that faeries often pinch when angered?*

If You See a Faerie Ring
If you see a faery ring
In a field of grass,
Very lightly step around,
Tip-toe as you pass,
Last night faeries frolicked there -
And they're sleeping somewhere near.
If you see a tiny faery,
Lying fast asleep,
Shut your eyes
And run away,
Do not stay to peek!
Do not tell
Or you'll break a faery spell.
~by William Shakespeare~
